"I love lotus pond!! Try the spicy salty oyster mushrooms, spring rolls, wonton soup, Szechuan B, mushroom fried rice, soy 'chkn ' balls. So many items to try!!"

"I have been to many tea rooms and Venus Sophia is still one of my favorites! The vegetarian afternoon tea made for the most unique and delicious tea sandwiches I have ever had. The sweets were delicious, cute decor, and delicious tea. I went home withthe Venus Sophia Chai, a floral chai with rose and lavender. Wish I lived in Victoria so I could come here more! If you aregoing to Victoria for tea, skip The Empress and go to Venus Sophia twice for the same price (or explore one of the other tearooms in the area)."

"While not traditional Mexican, this place has very good Tex-mex style food. I’ve been here multiple times and the food is always good and the staff is always helpful and nice. Good Mexican styling in the restaurant, better than most other fast casually dining options in the area. It does seem to get quite busy around lunch times, but what good restaurant doesn’t. This is a very worth while Tex-mex restaurant with decent pricing."
Look forward to the diverse, fine Mexican cuisine, traditionally prepared with corn, beans and chilies (hot peppers), In the morning they serve a extensive breakfast here. Look forward to the enjoyment of scrumptious vegetarian dishes.

"Chef Laura and her Staff made sure our two Dinner Parties were well provisioned with two delicious West Coast menus that our Family of 8 enjoyed immensely. Having the Good For You Gourmet Team take care of these meals for us during our vacation in Victoria allowed for more quality family time together, outdoor explorations, games together and relaxing in our vacation home, knowing that we would all be well fed these two nights. "Great portion, food was hot but the eggs were not medium poached, the ham on the Benny was so thick it was hard to eat. And the potatoes were cut so big that they were raw on the inside. Benny sauce was good tho."

"All chopped leaf food is good BUT….. the service the people seem effing miserable and show it. No hi how are you, nothing. They did not take my celiac disease seriously. Did not offer to make it in the back as I know is an option that is safe for me. The atmosphere is awkward not friendly as I know other places are. I know that the owner of the Kamloops district WOULD NOT stand for this hostility. Not coming back as I don’t like feeling awkward"
