"We stayed at Au Bon Accueil and Jane recommended this pub. This was one of the best experiences in France. In friction of a second we (owner and us) discovered that we have the same ridiculous sense of humor. There was very good beer (not...French), good food and a lot of fun. That was what we needed to be relaxed after long motorcycle trip because gloomy people live twice as short. A lot of beer and a lot of laughing. We need to visit this pub once more. Greetings from Poland."

"We went to the restaurant on the first evening in the region. The interior of the restaurant was quite nice, and we expected to have a good dinner. There were three napkins out of four missing on the table, and we had to ask the...waitress twice to bring them. The starters were ok, as well as the meat. But, for the main dish the sauce looked like a dirty splash on the plate, and sides were all precooked potato gratin and a vegetable flan, the sort you make to use up leftover veggies from your fridge on a weeknight. Ok for a home cook, but not what you expect in a restaurant. As for the desserts, the caramel sauce in the pear tasted bitter overburned sugar. We ordered calvados with the coffee, but have not received any. They forgot to serve, but not to put it on the bill. Euro for something you have not got! Sorry to say, it was one of the rearest places tha we left without leaving any tips for the waitress."
