"We popped in on a cold and rainy July day expecting to just have coffee. We decided however to try the quiche of the day with soup to try and warm ourselves up. We couldn't have been happier- yummy courgette quiche that I was kindly given the recipe for, with a vegetable soup. Incredibly good value with lovely coffee at just €1.50 each. Even sat on the terrace under a mini marquee which was great to listen to the rain whilst enjoying our lunch. Would thoroughly recommend."

"Arrived for lunch on Thursday. Despite there only being one other couple it seemed to be a problem us choosing a table in the shade. After having ordered food and been served drinks, we were informed they didn't accept cards only cash or cheques. We only had enough cash to buy a kid's meal for my son which seemed to annoy the chef (who we assumed was the owner . There was another family who faced the same issue. Another couple arrived who were similarly told they couldn't sit in the table they wanted to (despite it not being reserved and there being plenty of space on the terrace. The waitress was doing her best but the chef (owner? was being really difficult and frankly made us feel quite unwelcome. My son's meal when it arrived was very good and the rest of the menu looked good (despite there being several dishes unavailable . The food quality pushed our overall rating to 3, otherwise it would have been 2 given the overall welcome. Not sure whether not taking cards was a temporary glitch, but it would seem strange for a hotel restaurant not to take them! TAKE CASH JUST IN CASE!"

"I have to say the service is very kind. After 2 o'clock in the afternoon it is complicated to find open kitchens in many villages of francia. restaurants like à la patate que fume told us that we were not served the meal for the hour. We arrived at this restaurant almost by chance and very hungry. They told us they had no gas, but that was no inconvenience to get us eaten after 14:00. We ate a goat cheese salad, roasted camembert cheese and roasted chicken. they put us a red wine of the house quite good and after dessert, crème brulée and mousse of chocolate. They put a tronna on us, because we were going with babies. the price is quite good in relation to quality. I totally recommend it, more if it fits when I think it's the few restaurants in this area of francia that opens at any time your kitchen."

"Great location along the GR107 and GR367. The gite has private rooms and a bunk room. There is a bar on site with local wines. Breakfast and dinner is served. The guys running it are very helpful. Thanks for everything"
