"What a find! This is the perfect place to stop for lunch halfway through Wales. It’s 90 minutes from Cardiff and 2 hours from Wrexham . A warm welcome, fire blazing in a traditional pub environment. The kids loved using the Jukebox a novelty unless you grew up in the 80’s. A comprehensive menu from light lunches to a three course meal. Everything freshly prepared and with attention to detail even the garnish was lush! Really really top food and good value fo money . The puppy even had treats too . Thanks we will be back."

"Three of us ordered lunch. The choices weren't extensive but the options were tempting. All gluten free too, we were told. The cappuccinos were delish as was the mixed berry smoothie being advertised for which I succumbed to as well as my cappachino and...soup. The soup was tasty but a tad too much water for me. I like my soup thicker which is just my personal preference. The warm roll was a bonus. Colleauges ordered chilli with rice and a falafel pannini which they both said was delicious. The presentation made it even more morish as it had salad with beans and dressing. We have agreed to call back when we next meet in Llandod as we were very impressed! Its a nice vibe too and the service friendly but not intrusive."
