We visited for lunch with a group of 7 walkers. Having phoned to give them notice of arrival, we were delighted to find tables had been rearranged and set to accommodate us. That was a lovely welcome and when the food arrived we were knocked over by how appetizing and well presented it looked. It tasted even better! We could not have been made more welcome. read more.

Visited here on a recommendation, but it was our unlucky day. Very busy on arrival so we were prepared for a wait. Once we paid though we just seemed to be overlooked. Half hour wait for our hot drinks, a further 15 mins or so for our meals. The tea was horrible and tasted of lemons, and the full English breakfast had raw tomatoes with it.
