"My family and friends were in the area visiting and stopped by to get some good breakfast before starting our day. The food was amazing! The toast was fluffy airy and just melted in my mouth. This was the best toast that we had ever ate. Potatoes were crispy not oily and tasted super freshly cooked. Pancakes are amazingly delicious and huge! The blueberries strawberries were big, juicy sweet, and delicious. Ms. Joy (I believe was her name elder lady helping us) she was extremely sweet, attentive friendly. Didn't see if there was a kids menu available. We loved the atmosphere, modern look and super nice staff. The bathrooms are located in the back of building which you cross the kitchen the kitchen was super clean, organized and staff was working together. Bathrooms were super clean."

"We ate at Double Eagle this weekend after much anticipation! We heard and read SO many amazing things about this place....only to be wildly disappointed; mostly by the service. But that was enough. I only gave 3 stars because our burgers were really fantastic. Our waitress and wait was AWFUL. We didn 't ask for anything special, people came in after us and left WAY before us and our waitress didn 't even come to check on us. By the hour mark, the meal was ruined because we were so hungry and the waitress had zero customer service. She was slow and acted like we were a huge inconvenience. Once our food was delivered we didn 't see her again until she dropped off our check....which was disappointing in itself, only because we were dying to have dessert. We weren 't even offered! I suppose it was a good thing because it took over an hour and a half just to get 2 burgers when the joint was less than half full. We so badly wanted this was sour next 'go-to '..,especially with all of the military memorabilia and knowing its veteran owned. But I can 't take another experience like that..."

"For the first time here on Sunday afternoon called and had many questions patiently answered and was quoted a 10 min pickup time and was ready when I came there. There was a mix when we came in, a woman was going to pay for our food, as the worker read the order back to her friend and said that this was our job and the manager found her ticket and read her real order back?. Desaster was turned off. Maybe you ask peoples names or phone numbers to go orders. But was pleasantly surprised how good the food was especially for the fair price. This will be the only place I am common for Tacos now! If you didn't try. In my opinion, it is much better than any other place that cooks this food in the county."

"New Jersey transplant here: great quality and authentic tasting Italian. My husband and I ordered the baked dough which didn?t disappoint. Then we got free buttery garlic knots/bread for the table. Delicious! I ordered the eggplant parm which was very good and met all my expectations. My husband ordered the Tour of Italy: meatballs, lasagna, and chicken parm. The meatballs were great, I would order again. But the lasagna was dry, needed more flavor, cheese, and sauce. It tasted worse than a frozen lasagna (sorry! . My husband said his chicken parm was the reason he?d come again. So overall, not a bad Italian experience for the middle of nowhere North Carolina."

"This is our second time here and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The staff is very friendly and the place has a beautiful atmosphere. The Risotto Ball appetizer is amazing. Try a special one if you have one during your visit."

"We stopped for lunch here on Saturday. Fortunately, we sat immediately (Party of 2). The place is very small, so for those who have parties of 5 or more, it will be almost impossible to get a table especially on weekends. Originally everything went well, but when we ordered our food, the waiting period was incredibly long to get our appetizers and entrees. We also noticed that tables that sat after us received their orders when we did not even get our appetizers. My husband asked the waitress for an update for our food. We were not told what happened, but our appetizer and entrees came out shortly after. Our wings (appearants) were no longer warm and our deresses (sandwich and burgers) were also not warm. It seemed like our order was forgotten and was left there. We're not coming back. There was no recognition at the end of a mistake. It was best to excuse our appetizers and entrees at the same time. Don't eat here. There are other better options in the field of pinehurst."

"One of the best Mom and Pop Italian places in the South East. The entry is classy but still comfortable and inviting. Every dish we ordered was loaded with flavor, including all the Italian favorites and a few with paired with some lovely North Carolina wines. The service was exceptionally prompt, and it's the first time in the years I needed a box for the rest of my dinner. If your craving pasta in Southern Pines, do yourself a favor a cross Olive Garden off your list for good by checking out Curt's"
