"We had the pleasure of dining here at the Anchor Bar restaurant recently on our Airlie Beach holiday and we can only say what a relaxing and delightful experience. A beautifully arranged area for diners with an awesome view and easy access. The burger was beautifully prepared and the chips were cooked perfectly. The Ribs were just a treat and the smokiness was nothing short of impeccable. The bar area is well situated and is suitably stocked with a myriad of resplendent beverages. The atmosphere, along with the subtle sounds of the contemporary music that was played at just the right listening level, was so accommodating. A dining delight - and a must do for your visit to Airlie."

"Food was average for the price. The Irish girl that sat us was lovely so the stars are for her. The older waiter at the end was so rude when we asked for the bill. Pointed at the desk for us to pay. I have hurt my back and had to stand with a walking stick while he pulled up the bill instead of just printing it out and paying from the table like any other restaurant. Beagles Pizza has been here for years, and for all the reasons listed above and more. Open till late, it's an ideal meal stop from being on the beach on the way back home, wherever that is for the night. Flanked by flash restaurants, it fill the niche between formal dining or a hot pie from the Night Owl. The boys are friendly, and you might find yourself chatting like old friends in no time at all. The only drawback is that the place is cash only, so you might need to use the ATM in the Night Owl next door."

"We came here for breakfast one morning, and it was so good we immediately booked for brunch the next day! The fish tacos are totally delicious, breakie panacotta was melt in your mouth, Thai salad with grilled fish also so tasty there was nothing left...in the bowl. Add a chilled vibe, friendly staff and decent music (from The Who to Vance Joy) if I lived here I would hang out at Fat Frog regularly. We will definitely visit again when we return…"
