although there is no great choice of vegan options, that was eating that I had, delicious. the caponata linguine was one of the best pasta dishes I ever had and the portion size is great. the garlic bread was also delicious. it was also well appreciated and I would definitely return! This place has closed down with no warning. We booked three nights in September and received a confirmation email. When we arrived, it was in complete darkness. Luckily, Vicky at the Red Lion was able to accommodate us. View all feedback.
Shame place is closed till 2025 just hope new owner was as brilliant as ed and his staff Rooms: 2 Service: 5 Location: 5
Looking forward to it re-opening. On several previous visits to Hawkshead this has constantly been the best pub in the village.
