"This is probably my new favourite quaint and cozy seafood diner that I have ever had the pleasure of dining in. I 'm originally from Digby, NS so I definitely have an idea of what good seafood tastes like. The seafood chowder was an over abundant bowl (even though I ordered the 'cup ' with fish, scallops and lobster. Simply divine! I 'm a clam lover and have always loved Ed 's take out in Digby but the Crow 's nest is now my new favourite!! A small space with great maritime decor, fast and friendly service. A must do for locals or travellers!"

"Sadly you can not always find these two together in a restaurant. Fortunately, at Bistro East they are. We had excellent pizzas. Thin crispy crust & tasty toppings on both the Italian & Special Scallop pizzas. Our server was knowledgable about menu items, so answered all our questions & had a good sense of humour.The pizzas are made to order, so if you're in a hurry, this is not where to go.Or maybe place your order & go out & explore this charming town for 15 minutes or so."

"Good pizza. We ordered the large deluxe pizza to go. The service was friendly. The restaurant was clean. Lots of seating room. Our pizza was hot and ready to go within half hour. We had enough leftover, to put in our hotel room fridge, for lunch the next day. I was so impressed with the pizza, I want to return for a Ricardo's donair. P. S. Ask for donair sauce on the side.....great on pizza"

"While in Digby we stopped at The Fundy Restaurant. I have not eaten there since the former Chef Carl was alive and working there but thought we would give it a try. Margie waited on us and was amazing. She knew the menu inside and out and went above and beyond to ensure they were able to accommodate my diet which I very much appreciated. The Chef even came out to clarify what I was able to have and not have to make sure I was looked after, which I really appreciated. I had the gluten free veggie pasta with gluten free bread which was very tasty. Please not this dish is not quite the norm as they had to substitute a couple of things to accommodate my diet but it was still very good. My 10 year old daughter had fish and chips with sweet potato fries which she raved about and asked me when will be going back again which is a testimony in itself coming from a super picky eater. My wife had the haddock fish burger with baked potato on the side and loved it as well. The atmosphere is second to none in the area, and it is obvious the owner has put a lot of time, money and effort in building this beautiful spot! They also have Koi in a small pond at the front of the restaurant which my daughter loved to watch. I just hope the next time we are in the area the sun will be out so we can sit on their amazing deck and enjoy the million dollar view of the harbour! I look forward to visiting again soon! This was an easy 5 star rating, so keep up the great work everyone! Update We went back for dinner and this time the weather was amazing! Nothing like sitting on the deck at The Fundy Restaurant! Still a 5 star as I would expect nothing less."
