Long queue is indicative of the qyality and popularity of the shopp. The fish is suoer fresh with a really nice quality batter. One of our family is Gluten intolerant, and was able to enjoy really fresh cod in a gluten free batter. We had sausages, steak pie, fish roe, pasties. All were excellent. Took my wife for chips I had the children’s portion of fish because they didn’t have a small cod. The quality was poor and the chips were thin and not well cooked. There was also a taste about the oil I didn’t like. read more.

Went to get food after a recommendation, it was the best fish I've had in years. Chips and Pea fritter were also top notch.
