we had dinner last night in the royal oak and we were very happy with our two meals. I had trout with chips and salat and my friend had chicken and lauch cake with chips and veg both meals were delicious. it is a friendly pub with a good atmosphere. we will be worth a visit. read more.

This was our 2nd visit for Sunday Roast meal. Our 1st visit about 6 weeks back and was absolutely lovely. As first visit really enjoyed thought let's go again. Sadly our 2nd visit wasn't the same meat was fine, sadly the rest of the veg wasn't as nice carrots seemed no taste, cauliflower still quite hard, both boilt and Roast potatoes not much taste either. Visited as it was the only pub in the area with a table. We soon found out why. Let's face it, it's a Fuller's pub so you know your not going to get great food....
