Borromeo Antico Ristorante - Ascona

What Peter Steinberg likes about Borromeo Antico Ristorante:
The garden in the inner courtyard is wonderfully quiet and very large. The food was very good and the service was nice. What I was missing, however, was that there were no local beers, only Appenzeller. Ticino has so many local smaller breweries!!!! That's why we only chose water. Hope there are at least 1-2 local varieties on the next visit. View all feedback.

What Secondo Palumbo doesn't like about Borromeo Antico Ristorante:
Some of the dishes were nice, the ragout of the pasta was tasty, but the tagliatelle were definitely not home made as written. The potato cream in the octopus starter was very liquid and tasteless. But the most disappointing things was seeing the waiter offering...the limoncello at the end of the dinner to all the other tables but not to us, after also giving 15chf tips, they were probably in a rush to close the rest...
