What Patty likes about Scoops And Snacks:
It's not somewhere I'd go to hang out but the chocolate cheese cake is worth a stop in. The lady behind the til is lovely and friendly so waiting for takeaways is easy. I also recommend the award winning chocolate milkshake, a bit expensive when you buy it but once you taste it and realize how much chocolate went into it and you'll understand the price. Absolutely love their ice creams, milk shakes, coffees and pastries. Whenever I visit, I like to try something new and I'm never disappointed.

"Tucked away in Britomart we tried Ortolana! It has a fabulous covered patio where we had the most amazing meal. The service was friendly and good, but what stood out the most was their accommodation to my wife's dining preferences. She found a dish that she wanted but it contained meat. She requested they withhold the meat and, to our surprise, offered to substitute it with additional vegetables. Unlike many other restaurants we've been to, this wasn't some casual replacement, but a thoughtful enhancement to the dish. It was really outstanding and made my wife feel valued instead of being a troublesome for asking for it to be made vegetarian. For that alone, I would highly recommend Ortolana. But the food and service really shined and it's worth your trip and our future return."
