"Fort greene has the most beautiful store front but its never been open while i walked past. Ive seen the bakers prepping many times and the bread has always looked the part.<br/ <br/ Tried the meatball sandwich which was stunning such a good marinara flavour and excellent meatballs. Topped this up with the chilli sauce they make and its superb.<br/ <br/ The cabinet is also amazing first time i have seen Almond pain au chocolate. Instant buy. One of the best pastries i have ever had"

"I was here shortly before Christmas in 2018 and still remember. it was dark, I just got the last ferry from waiheke, and I was hungry after a whole day of mountain biking an island without food except a banana. I followed my nose here and I am so glad that I did it. Excellent fishing and chips, excellent beer, friendly and helpful staff (I was not in auckland since 2012 and the dings were changed, I was a bit out of the way) when I returned, I will eat here again."

"Great place to get a decent bowl of classic Tonkotsu ramen (or something different, lots of choices to choose from! . Portion is very generous, super tasty (no artificial taste like some of the other places in the CBD and great value for money. I come here at least twice a month and find that the food and staff are always consistent. Can't fault it!"
