"My wife, son and I dropped by The Oaken Barrel for lunch on a Tuesday and were met with a smiling and helpful Kaylee who was excited to suggest some of the spectacular items after hearing we were traveling and hadn't visited the restaurant before. A procurement of a highchair later and some discussion on what might be the best to order and we were on our way with lunch. The food itself was fresh and hot, delicious and prompt. All staff we interacted with were beyond pleasant and made us feel welcome! In closing, the place is a lovely little spot for a bite to eat and I'd gladly drop by again if in the area."

"Went there for cherry and strawberry picking today. They got a 100+ years old store but it really looks cool. They have a lot of u-pick fruits that will soon be available and I am waiting for that time. It is a one stop farm,...just be careful with the strawberries as it is naturally farmed and hand weeded so there are a lot of thistles. I always go back there for picking."

"I usually have no problems with callisters. The food is delicious and the service is usually good. This Sunday we went 6 for breakfast. The waitress was very absent. I didn't take care of it. We didn't get drinks until 20 minutes after we set ourselves. People with other servers that came after us had coffee within 5 minutes. We didn't get the jam we asked for our toast. I didn't even offer a refill for my coffee. My 7-year-old was not offered. The only reason why drinks were brought out was because the owner asked my mother overhead for them. No excuses from the server. We asked for lemon in the water and it came without. When time came to ask about invoices, we were not offered a refill of coffee or anthing otherwise. I didn't want cake. How do you separate the bills? That means it was delicious. The lady in the ice window was very sweet."

"Was here a handful of time, hot, what a treat. The bread 'Valley Müsli' was soft, fluffy and held goodness. Service was fast, sandwich was made with care, carefully packed and very tasteful. Just reason for 4 stars is because I didn't try anything else like a lot of their delicious looking treats."
