"Recommended to us by our bed and breakfast we had to try out Angie's Place. My wife ordered the haddock and chips and I had the haddock bits and scallops. My wife enjoyed her Haddock and Chips, the cut of fish was superb and the chips home made and delicious. I enjoyed the haddock bits, but compared to my wife's filet they paled in comparison. Unfortunately the bacon wrapped scallops were not available (what I really wanted), but the regular pan fried scallops I had instead were delicious regardless. I will definately revisit Angie's place in the future. Thank you."

"We have been here on several occasions...each time we have ordered an ice cream cone...not the soft swirl ice cream but the hard ice cream that comes in a variety of flavorsWithout fail, each time the ice cream is so soft, it is melting over the side of the cone, (and your hands, and your clothes if you are not careful) within seconds.My guess is that they don't have their freezers turned down low enough for the ice cream to be at the correct temperature. We won't be back any time soon."

"Dempsey's corner orchards is without a doubt one of the best places to visit if you like the idea of picking your own produce. The price to enter is super reasonable and the people there are super friendly. The orchard itself is quite a...size and so they have wheeled carts to take around. The ground is not always even so if you also want to put small children in the wagon be sure to have an old blanket for padding as the carts are metal. There are activities for the kids too. The variety of apples is impressive and I don't think the dollars actually covers what we ate but the price at checkout for the apples we got, essentially all we could lift was under including a lot of honeycrisp apples. This is one of those places you will remember fondly for a very long time. It is a bit of a drive from halifax but so worth it."

"We are on time for our reservation of 7 o'clock. wait until 7:25 and with a big table sitting after us waited for (drinks, orders in the evening) we had not even been asked for drinks. therefore we have voted with our feet and have gone to eat elsewhere. we had good service at kellocks in the past not sure what the problems were tonight."
