Rice Bowl - Bakersfield

We usually get excellent service, but last night was completely different. the owner was very rude to our party. first they sat in a banquet room that we did not demand, and therefore they did not want to give us separate tickets. then they've messed up the commands. the ac didn't work and finally it was musty of the old place.

Great food but the menu was missing a couple things like deluxe versions of the noodles and crab rangoon, I personally would've been happy with cheese rangoon, otherwise the servings surprised me, I was expecting shorter dishes when I saw the lids in the take out bag until I pulled them out, those are deep and packed well.

Been coming here for family events gatherings for close to 50 years! Never has failed to exceed my expectations! This is the one that I compare all other Asian restaurants too! Not one has yet to meet every expectation.

We've been loyal rice bowl customers over 40 yrs...After the pandemic the quality of food and service has diminished significantly! You no longer can request any special food requirements for food allergies like we've been able when they delivered in the past and if youre a vegan Best of Luck! They've reduced themselves to Panda Express when having food delivered through Grubhub or Uber..save the money and run to the drive thru...The food is no better you can actually order what you want.

Great place for family and friends, there is a great choice of variety. and eating tastes great!
