What Louisa Block doesn't like about Tacos La Villa:
They are usually consistently good but lately in my last several visits it's been on the bad side. The Carne Asada tacos I ordered, the tortillas were cold and the meat soggy as if it was pulled from the fridge and microwaved not grilled at all. The Chile Verde burrito was just the meat itself no Chile at all and flavorless. I paid extra for tomatoes and lettuce but it wasn't added. I was so disappointed I didn't bot... read more.

"This place had booked a past, so glad to try it for lunch. tried the standard backpack chicken and it was quite good (not excessively salty or oily, which was beautiful, not eating coma) 5 stars tried the standard jerk chicken, but want to try the ochs tail and goat in the future. the Ruck chicken plate was pretty good. many seasoned to add the taste, without excessively salty or oily as most chicken plates. the rice, the sweet and the curtains were also quite good bottom line an excellent supplement to my bakersfield restaurant rotation."
