Food was amazing. Had the lunch banquet. Was very enjoyable. Service was fantastic too. All in all a great dining experience. Recommend.

"How Come It has Taken Me So Long? The Rustic Potato is a great lunch venue and I have only just discovered it. Really tasty food, great menu choices. Went on a Tuesday when all hot potato dishes were $9. Try this happening lunch bar you will love it. Décor is very modern with a range of table and seating choices. Just go! Enjoy fresh, tasty food. And the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Ice cream in cone and barista coffee topped off a very affordable meal. Highly recommended."

"The four of us had Sunday dinners and it was very special. We had another main dish, fillet steak, duck, salmon and garlic shrimp. The whole food was excellent and beautifully presented. The service of our host was attentive and with everything to see. Wow and I thought a new two-hut cook was good. This restaurant is a treasure and here in Ballarat."

"We sat leisurely in comfortable chairs in the cosy atmosphere of The Larder with morning papers and great coffee (made just how we like it) while outside people hurried in the rain to get to work. Our breakfast was delicious, the buttermilk pancake with maple syrup and clotted cream to die (or should that be diet?) for and my husband's nut and seed bread with smashed avocado and poached eggs equally good. There is also a great range of gifts and souvenirs as well as excellent food in this delightful cafe."
