Such a shame. Unfortunately the service was extremely slow. Waited 35 minutes for our coffees and only 3 turned up out of the 4. When you are paying £100 for 4 breakfasts I’m afraid it should be perfect. They definitely needed more staff on duty. You cannot use the excuse “everyone has turned up at once”. They must know how many people have made reservations. read more.

Lovely setting. Only reason not a 5 is the £27 Roast Beef was quite chewy

"We booked a table after seeing the high tripadvisor ratings for this restaurant. When we arrived (7pm on a weekend evening) we were the only people in there! We enjoyed our meals, although they only made 3 of the 4 meals we had ordered and we had to ask about the final one. They didn't admit they had forgotten it and it turnoed up another 10 minutes later with no apology for the delay. 3 of the 4 meals were excellent. The 4th was very disappointing. Didn't feel that staff were particularly attentive given that we were the only ones there. Food was tasty, so would probably choose to eat from there again, but would go for the takeaway option instead."
