Amazing home cooked food, friendly staff and great prices! Also even do outside catering which also is a delight
Can't say what the food was like didn't get any ordered lunch at 11-45am waiting till 1-15 pm claims chef couldn't cope with orders so got a refund and left

"Amazing food, every dish was full of flavour. Menu had a good variety for food and drinks, cocktails were top notch. Can’t decide which one was my favourite as they were all great. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Would definitely go back and would highly recommend to anyone."

"This restaurant appears very 'Parisian ' from the outside and inside it has an intimate feel so would be nice for couples. They were very welcoming of families too. We went for the Sunday special where you get a discount on two/three courses. It was a bank holiday Sunday and the lady that worked there looked a little rushed/distracted but she 'd probably had a long busy day and probably isn 't normally like this. There is a good variety to choose from the menu and our children devoured their meals. I had the sea bass main and rhubarb crumble for dessert. The mains were huge, fantastic portions! I enjoyed all the trimmings. The ginger overpowered the crumble slightly but that 's my only slight criticism of the food. The wine we had was lovely! If in Dalton again we 'd definitely go back to Hartley 's."

"Stopped in for brunch on a busy Saturday, food was delicious and staff could not be more helpful. Baby changing facilities were available and cafe was breastfeeding friendly which made me feel very comfortable and reassured as a new mum to my 9 week old."

"Warning: Cash only! There isn't a cash machine handy nearby either, otherwise, this place is brilliant. It's exactly how I like my pubs, no pretence. Just great food (once you decipher the extensive menu) with generous portions at good prices. A large selection of whiskey and cider. There was a selection of beers on tap and what I had was well kept and tasty and, as far as I know, they brew their beers on site. The staff were friendly and welcoming, as were the patrons.I will be coming again."

"Absolutely brilliant food, in a bustling, efficient and comfortable setting. Staff showed us the kitchen, explained it's mechanics and professionally and capably delivered us wonderfully tasty and visual courses, with a delightful wine pairing. Pricey, but you get what you pay for."
