I've been to the Platanenhof twice now and both times I have been really impressed with the food. Really excellent cuisine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The choice of wines isn't huge, but what I've tried so far (Spanish and Ticino) has been very good and not too hard on the wallet. What Alfred Weiss doesn't like about Platanenhof:
the friendly reception and the cosy facility agree to the eating. Unfortunately, the expectations were not fully met. there were watermelons with feta. the four small pieces of feta and melon were fine, but remembered before an amuse bouche. Nice atmosphere, quite homely. We were a group of 27 but they managed well with quick and efficient service. Good food.

The outdoor seating area is lovely. I am a big bone marrow fan and was delighted to see it cut the long way.
We will repeat soon! Really good place for a cozy and delicious dinner in our neighborhood Klybeck.
