Excellent fish crispy and one of the best risottos I've eaten in my life. Here we cook with a lot of skill and love! And super friendly owners/staff. Wonderful...

Great view while eating, super beautiful. We sat outside. The vegetarian dish was very tasty. They even took time to take a photo of us. Lovely again.

"We are extremely delighted by our stay at this lovely hotel. We were s big group of people including 4 kids 3 and half y.o. Conny and Gosia, the hosts, made impossible to accommodate us and his communication was prompt and active, as well as friendly and with personal touch. Even before reaching the hotel I was sure we will get the best. The food at the restaurant is utmost! Gosia, the chief, cook a special different menu every day. This I found very special. They prepare the food with many local products, admire for that! The food is more than delicious and deserve a Michelin star. Elmar was also great with his overall service, lovely guy! Would love to come back again."

"Just stopped here for a coffee break here recently. Very friendly staff and great service. Very welcoming also of international guests. Very nice terrasse with great view on the lake on a sunny day. The food menu looked decent, will go and try next time."

"We were recommended for a night in engleberg. hotel and tripadvisor Swiss house. I made a reservation. it was just outside the city. inside was a modern looking place. tablecloths and a large window to the kitchen. we ordered and received a small appetizer plate with...salmon my wife ordered trout that came from a pond next to the restaurant. the service was friendly and efficient. we enjoyed our dinner and probably one of our best dinners during our trip."

"We were staying in the hotel and decided to eat in the bistro we were looking for something very casual and didn't really feel like going to the restaurant next door. We did however have the feeling that we were eating there with the service being quite formal but very efficient. Our food was excellent but I though a little over priced perhaps I could just be unfamiliar with local prices but I felt it not really good value."

"Das Horseshoe bzw. Schöntal ist eines der besten Restaurants, welches wir im Kanton Schwyz haben. Es handelt sich hierbei um "gut bäuerliche Küche". Das Restaurant Schöntal wurde sehr schön renoviert, es ist sehr gemütlich und authentisch. Die Cordon Bleus sind super fein, ein Geheimtipp ist jedoch das Fleisch auf dem heissen Stein *lecker*. Nach einem feinen Essen kann man dann in der Raucherbar nebenan noch einen Schlummi nehmen. Oben hat es noch tolle Sääle für spezielle Anlässe. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall immer wieder!!"
