What Elissel likes about The Crown:
Don’t know why I haven’t written this review before as we go there often enough! The fish and chips (possibly with Prosecco are just out of this world, words cannot describe how good the fish is and the chips are superb! Not surprisingly the fish comes in fresh (Kevin, the Landlord used to travel to Billingsgate every week and is only available on Thursday and Friday nights (I think View all feedback.
What elliottross doesn't like about The Crown:
We called in on the off chance, so had not booked; this seemed an issue on the offset. The service was ok, it just took a while for everything to come, and I would not say the place was child friendly at all. If you book in advance, I am sure it would be perfect, but for family diners wanting a quick lunch, this would not be ideal. View all feedback.
