What Dylan Chapman doesn't like about Thip's Thai Lunch Box:
After reading great things about this place and being someone who loves Thai food I thought I would give it a go. Entree was Satay sticks which I did not like, the satay sauce was tasteless. Main we had red curry chicken, this was ok and we had stir fry chicken in satay sauce, this dish I thought had no taste, very bland. So I will stick too my normal Thai restaurant. View all feedback. read moreThip's Thai restaurant in Canberra has garnered a devoted following over the years, offering authentic and flavorful Thai dishes that stand out in a market saturated with "Australian-ised" versions of the cuisine. While the setting may be basic, the quality of the food shines through. From favorites like pad Thai and BBQ pork to tom yum, the menu is full of classic Thai flavors that keep customers coming back for more. Despite the small and unpretentious atmosphere, Thip's Thai is a gem worth seeking out for anyone craving a taste of true Thai cuisine. With reasonable prices, consistent quality, and a loyal customer base, this family-run establishment continues to deliver delicious, home-cooked Thai dishes that are hard to beat in Canberra.
