The Blumfield Hotel is a good country pub in the Adelaide Hills and in a great location opposite the National Motor Museum at BIRDWOOD. The pub is easy to find in the main street of Birdwood and has an old car mounted on the front of the hotel. We went for lunch. A beautiful autumn day out in the E Type enjoying the last of the late sunshine. A tiny dining room filled with happy people. A lovely warm fire as the air was chilly. The food was very average but delivered with such zeal you want to be nice. The chips a little ragged. The schnitzel was delicious but lacking seasoning.
