"I wish Canada had bakeries as available as they do in Australia. The baked goods we had here were to die for. I had a salami salad roll and a sausage roll for a late lunch. As I said FANTASTIC is the only word I can think best describes what I ate."

"Had lunch here before visiting the National Motor Museum. We rang several weeks prior informing them there would be a party of 20 at 12.30pm but they did not have anything organised. We had to sit at seperate tables as the back room was occupied. The meals were average and remarks that the pie and schnitzels were disappointing. The staff weren't very friendly which seemed out of place in a small tourist country town. Wouls stop for a drink but would probably find somewhere else to eat."

"Staff were friendly, location is wonderful, the place is very well maintained and the menu was inviting. However, service, whist friendly was inefficient and inattentive. We sat for almost an hour after ordering food only for it to come out in dribs and drabs after a pre-emptive apology. And my meal was sufficiently overcooked and cold on arrival that I did not enjoy it as I had hoped. My companions did very much enjoy their meals when they arrived with no complaint. A tactical, Can I get anyone a coffee on the house while you wait a little longer? offer may have saved the day, but the owner/manager missed that opportunity when being proactive about letting us know about our delayed meals (we were about to ask). If we were to come back, we will probably settle for a coffee only."

"Excellent lunch, not cheap but great tastes and enough portion sizes. Wine enjoyable all capped off by the made to order weather and good friendly staff service. Only complaint that I was dedicated driver so could only enjoy one glass of Shiraz."
