"Gosh we loved this cafe. We wished we'd been in town a week longer so we could try everything on the menu! The sandwiches and salads are fantastic and filling, and the coffee is great quality. In addition, the decor, glassware, and flatware are all really cute and provide a great ambience to the place. It was packed every time we passed, so be prepared for a queue!"

"These were the best mussels I’ve ever had in my life. And I’ve eaten a lot of mussels in a lot of different countries. These tasted fresh from the ocean, and didn’t even need much broth or veggies. They were so simple yet so delicious, especially when dipped in the warm garlic butter. The value is also amazing, getting a ton of mussels for only $16. We also ordered the fish burger and chowder which were fabulous. The view from outside the restaurant it also beautiful!"

"We had a great meal at Parsons. Mr Parsons and the staff were all very warm and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. The dinners where all inclusive, entree, tea or coffee and wonderful desserts. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend stopping here if you get to Rocky Harbour while visiting Gros Morne Park."

"This inn was possibly one of our most popular places where we stayed during our two week trip to Newfoundland. So much thought and care were obviously taken when it was recently renovated a few years ago to relax this into a perfect place and after a long trip or a day of exploring Gros Morne. The spacious lounge, bar, restaurant and cosy rooms were all perfectly clean and comfortable with many places to enjoy the view of the Bay of Bonne. Great hot and cold breakfast. Free laundry facilities available. Our room had a walk in the shower, a Keurig coffee machine and fridge. Wifi worked well. It was a two-minute drive to the Gros Morne Discovery Center, 10 minutes to Table Lands Hike and 15 minutes to the Green Garden Trailhead. What brings Bonne Bay Inn above the top for us was our host Darlene (and her lovely dog, Bergie! Darlene was the best host and one of the warmest, friendly people we met throughout our journey. So friendly, helpful and chatty, without being intrusive, she really made our trip! We wish we had spent more than one night at the Bonne Bay Inn and walk out of our way to find out how to stay there when we revisit Newfoundland!"
