What NigelBryant doesn't like about Spice Mango:
As it only a takeaway service and has no sit down restaurant you would expect it to be on top of its game takeaway food wise. Unfortunately it is badly let down by the standard of food. The dishes are not up to the quality I would expect from an Indian who charge at the prices this establishment does. Salmon Shashlic was this really Salmon or what it tasted like Dogfish sometimes called “Rock Salmon”? Also Sag Bhaji was not very hot neither was the Chic Peas...

very disappointing so I left it a few weeks and tried again, must be the same chef because the food was equally disappointing

"This welcoming Cafe/restaurant is situated near the church in the village of Mattishall some 5 miles from Dereham. This was my first visit and both my wife and I were impressed with the range of food available on the menus. We opted for a sandwich the perceived lighter lunch option !! The sandwich was packed with filling and served with either chips or crisps and was accompanied by a salad with a tasty dressing and a mouth watering slice of watermelon. one of my grandchildren had the special Rump steak meal how on earth did he get through it all !!! His dad had the home made burger and was beaten! This has to be the best eatery in the area including Dereham sensibly priced huge portions and a delightful outside area to eat under great modern parasols. We will return and have no hesitation in recommending Tabnabs to friends and family"
