Called in for a pint, this pub is very very rare in today’s society. The decor is traditionally tasteful to the old school. Let’s put it another way no pomp and ceremony if you get my meaning. To the traditional pub connoisseur this pub is a must. The beer is excellent and the food being served smelt wonderful and plenty. Worth tracking down. View all feedback.

Having read reviews and encouraged by ratings we decided to call in for lunch. On opening the door our nostrils were filled with the aroma of stale cooking oil. There were a handful, if that, of what we presumed to be locals in the bar area but no one in the dining area.
