"Ordered takeaway on a Sunday evening. Was told it would be about 20mins wait due to it being a busy night, which I had no issues with however I ended up waiting well over an hour. After initially waiting for half an hour I asked how much longer it would be and was told that it would be about 10mins... 45mins later the food came out. Terrible service."

"Thank you so much to the girls from the railway spotted dog tavern. after having our original venue cancel on our dinner party with family we had then went to the spotted dog, we were so happy to be there a big shout out to the two staff that were best staff we have ever had at a club. Tilly and Sam thank you. both fantastic staff and tilly great coffee best we have had since moving to Bundaberg will be back soon Price per person: A$20–40"

"Very disappointing on service, atmosphere and meals. We both had 300 g reef and beef. For a seafood abundant town the topping was atrocious. Tyre rubber calamari and something that resembles prawns but not sure and the cut of steak had gristle in it and the tablespoon of mash was the only veg that was cooked. No front of house staff to do table turnaround. Couples were being turned away when there was empty unwiped and uncleared tables sitting empty. We were stuck in a hot corner at the front door and furniture and floor was filthy dirty. Whoever owns this place needs to train staff and give it a good scrub. Disgusted to say the least."

"Visited for Lunch. Greeted with big smiles from friendly staff, The food was just the best I have rated for a while. The chicken burger had real chicken - no patties or anything manufactured real grilled chicken and a "secret sauce". Coffee was great too. Next time I am in Bundaberg I will be visiting James's Place."

"Dined here quite regularly and never been disappointed. The pizza's are overloaded with toppings, the pastas are full of flavour and just delicious. Garlic bread to die for. The service is friendly and efficient. I could not recommend this restaurant enough."
