We went for the Sunday carvery recently with visiting relatives, having not been for some months. Delighted to find the food was every bit as excellent as we remembered and the lovely staff recognised us immediately. Booked dinner at 6.30 pm thinking it would give plenty of time before going into Derek Ryan concert starting at 8pm. We were given a complementary platter of bread and dip while we were waiting on a starter. The starter took ages to come. At 7.40 we had not had our main course!
