"A very popular caffeine in the new city edinburgh, which deserves the hype. excellent coffee, once a waitress recommended me a special coffee with Kenyan bonian intense taste, slightly acidic note, aromatic and I loved it so much. the food we had were also super, fragrant and creamy suppe, well made toast with fresh ingredients and pliable sourdough. the chocolate cake is also worth trying."

"Arranged to meet friends all travelling from different directions at Gigi's which was a central point for us all. None of us had been before only looked at previous reviews in making our choice of where to go. We were not disappointed fantastic,...friendly staff, menu with good selection brilliant food. When I came up with a baby, I was told that we cannot have one of several empty tables, because it is “policy to serve or rather its policy is that mothers should confine themselves to their own houses!? "We enjoyed a nice afternoon tea and the food was lovely. unfortunately some acetate/plastic was left on one the items which had a chocolate wrap around. We didn't notice this until one of our party had it in there mouth, it could have been a chocking hazard but luckily she realised. When we told they staff they didn't apologise and ther response was it sometimes happens. We feel that they should have at least given a small apology."
