Simple food cooked well attentive friendly staff we had chicken cordon blue and the garlic bread. All very good. Smart clean contemporary setting well positioned near marina to view sunsets. On road so sat inside to avoid road noise. Great value. We had bread starter. mains plus bottles of wine. Bill came to euros. View all feedback.
What WineMarmot doesn't like about Beira Mar:
All is still good but with new owners and chef it is not as good it used to be. Now there are better places to eat in Calheta. Still good, but check the menu first. View all feedback.
Se procura um local para comer comida deliciosa e variada e beber um copo de vinho verde da Madeira com uma vista maravilhosa sobre o oceano, este é o restaurante que não pode deixar de experimentar.

The restaurant is in a lovely location. Staff are very friendly, and portion sizes of food are big and delicious! I sat on the deck and enjoyed a big beer and some tasty risotto.
Very good fresh seafood. The service is excellent. Might be decorated in different manner, but still the food is what matters.
A good menu, very helpful waiter, well cooked food, we had the mussels, garlic bread, followed by seafood and rice. A very good meal, reasonable price. The waiter was helpful with choosing wine.
