I strongly advise against dining here! I had the worst experience. The host or waiter—whatever his job title is—was incredibly rude. We arrived with a group of eight, but he refused to seat us until my entire party was present, which was only two minutes away. I would give him a negative star if I could. Homemade tortillas, maul, salsas, rice, bohnen, everything! what a great meal! everything is homemade and made from ground on. the ingredients are so fresh, the owner is so friendly! we were very impressed! the Mexican good here is very authentic and comes from the condition of oaxaquena. this place should be on diners, drive intos and dives without doubt!
The food, whatever you order that is, is AMAZING!!!!! The handmade tortillas are to die for. You cannot go wrong with anything here.
I'm going to eat quite often is always okay. definitiw not the home feeling of restaurants very quiet, not much entertainment I feel menus should be presented instead of placing online. bit on the pricy side for basic Spanish cuisine.
Excellent authentic Mexican foodThe Chile verde sauce is unforgettably delicious. The service is personable and friendly. The entrees are brought out in a beautiful display.
The first time to eat here. my wife was from the city and visited el tajate and was totally happy with the smokey salsa, margarita and the pork (which was too big to eat in a session). will be back and highly recommended.
