"When we arrived, there were only a few cars in the parking lot. Unfortunately there was only one cook and one server. Nevertheless, after we received our food, it was warm and tasty. I definitely tried not to focus on the fact that it wasn't enough staff because it wasn't their fault that some people decided not to show up. The server and the chef did their best to accommodate everyone and I appreciate it."

"Owner of the building should be ashamed, making more money than the average LJS and the conditions these employees are horrendous, luckily they do a great job regardless. Paint job and maintenance please. The storage in the back falling apart sewage line exposed and leaking electrical exposed WOW"

"Had Camarones El Mexicana. It was very good. Spanish rice was bland but as usual I don't eat much of the rice. The chips and salsa were very good as well. Service was a bit slow but they were trying to get ready to close and were reasonably busy. Will go back again."

"Really amazing little pizza snack, went with my fist today 04.24.21. This was our first time to eat here. They had in the food, there were a few pizzas that were made earlier, it seems they were a little dry but not complete. While we were there, they made a fresh batch of Pepperoni Jalapeño Pizza, Sausage w/ green Chile deep plate pizza, cinnamon sticks, cinnamon filled small bags. They also had a salad and pasta bar w/ toppings dressings. Really great place! We were regularly checked with whom I believe to be the manager. She was very helpful politely invited us back. We will return."

"Quaint little cafe in the heart of Carlsbad. I ordered the basics. 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 pancakes, hashbrowns, coffee and ice water. Great service and short wait time. The food was good but my only complaint there was the sausage links. Iprefer Jimmy Dean-style sausage links and theirs were the spongy kind you would expect at a hotel continental breakfast. Theprice was a bit steep IMO but I guess we know who to thank for that. All in all a good experience."

"The food was ok, very bland and tasteless. For some reason the town of Carlsbad hates salt, pepper and spices on her food. The food came in very large portions and was delivered hot. The food presentation is top notch and looks like art. I dined outside was immediately attacked by a band of fucked flies. I had no food before me. The restaurant has a very intimate feeling, so it is perfect for appointments. My server was incredible! She was very happy, upbeat, personable, gave great tips and constantly ensured that I was well taken care of! Staff usually here is excellent and do an excellent job to make all guests welcome."

"I got the Triple Dipper appetizer, Baked seafood pasta and Molten Chocolate Cake. The baked seafood pasta was bad. Salty and the crab had a weird taste to it. The appetizer was better than the main course but the definitive highlight was the MoltenChocolate Cake. The deep eddy strawberry lemonade was good. Also, they forgot some stuff and we had to remind them. Overall itwas ok but I most likely won't go back."
