We were a group of 22 and drove by bus to the restaurant for lunch. Everything that was served was fresh and tasted delicious. We had a chance to visit the kitchen to watch the preparation of the local desert Testa di Turco. They had also prepared nice gluten-free dishes for one of our group members. We came to the hotel after a quite challenging walk from Pomieri. We were absolutely devastated when there was no beer available to quench our thirst. We got some excellent cool Sicilian wine and some mineral water. But beer would have been better. Rooms were good with a nice bath room. Dinner was good. We had wild Boar for the main course. read morewe ate there two evenings and it was great food with good taste. Enough to feed teens the wine is good. If you stay in the hotel there, no need to go to town.
