"First disappointment on booking. Restaurant staffer, who said he was the manager, refused to take a table booking over the phone, and without giving a persuasive explanation. Booked table online. Table was booked for At no time was it specified the table would be needed. Bill arrived at table at We were told the table was needed, and if we could pay and leave. Staff were rude, and during our meal indifferent and unhelpful, especially when they got the order wrong"

"Such a creative menu with choice ingredients.From the sandwich menu I had the superb toonsbridge halloumi , the other half had the Cuban slow cooked pork....Not a morsel left on either plate. Our kids hoovered up the beautiful brioche french toast and bacon dish. We'll be back for more."

"Food is pretty fantastic. I ordered the pan fried Black Sole on the bone served with a burre blanc sauce, steamed mussels and butter poached shrimps. This was served with steamed veg and was simply outstanding. My wife ordered the breaded chicken dish stuffed with cream cheese and Parmesan. The taste was so soft and delicate, perfectly cooked with a lovely crisp from the coating. Clever cooking and absolutely delicious. Excellent staff, observant and attentive. Not possible to find any faults with anything. Good value, interesting menu with regular specials. Well worth traveling to. Sorry but I forgot to take any photos"
