Planned a trip with my friends to check out the wineries in the Cessnock region, saw the good reviews for bridgey's and thought we'd give it a go. I ordered the famous works burger meal which I had to order chips with, and a friend had the fish, chips and salad.First of all the service was nothing but below acceptable. "Walked past this place while out for dinner. Could tell straight away it would be where I was going for my coffee the next morning (you can judge a cafe by its looks!). The coffee was fabulous - way better than I expected to find in Cessnock - and while I didn't get breakfast after seeing the menu I would have been happy to."

"We had breakfast at Simply D'Vine and the food and coffee is simply fabulous. We ordered avo feta smashed with grilled tomato, poached eggs and sour dough as well as the mushrooms with poached eggs. The staff said the smoked salmon and bacon were not available. The mushrooms dish is excellent, the taste and texture is well done and a tinge of truffle oil. If you like something less commercialise and rustic, you should visit this joint- it is not far not Hunter Valley Visitor Centre."
