excellent pub with such amazing history and what a wonderful greeting they will be given at the arrival. we arrived at the pub and had another couple. the lady who asked if we had a booking didn't crack a smile and showed us on the table. her attitude made us feel a little uncomfortable. we ordered our food and drinks. eating was nice and after we offered the same unmiling dame the dessert menu. read moreA lovely pub with good beer and great garden space out the back. Not tried the food but what I have seen lookes very good. Always get a warm welcome.
