"I hadn't been for years.. Visited yesterday lunch, no one in the store. Service was good however little overpriced. I paid. 5.50 for small bowl of mushrooms as a side to salmon bagel I asked for toast instead) Atmosphere is great, well spaced and colors light and plants hanging from ceiling. Ok revisted today 22/2/23 and staff remembered us and now regulars. P.s had chocolate cookie for dessert. Sweet tooth ? Perfect chunks of chocolate throughout and not dry perfect portion. My new favourite salmon Benedict! The flavours are amazing!!!!"

"Rating this cafe a 3.5 star. We got to this cafe at a busy time, so we were sat outside fairly quickly. The staff were friendly and took our coffee orders. There was already water on the table so we didn't need to ask. As it was a nice day, the cafe doors and windows were open so they could take orders for takeaway which was a nice touch to reduce the crowd inside. The food was quite average here to be honest, and the serving size was quite small for the price, compared to the other excellent cafes we've been to. I have to say that the presentation of the burger dish could have been a lot better, instead of a plate with the burger and chips mixed in together as you could see by the pic. I could forgive this if the cafe wasn't so highly rated but I expected a lot better in this area. We had the chicken sandwich and the beef burger with fries. The burger reminded me of a glorified Macca's cheese burger meal to be brutally honest; the meat patty was super thin with little to no taste. Its sauce wasn't special so it didn't carry the taste of the burger, and the bun was a bit dry (maybe because it's slightly toasted). And the fries that came with it lost some temperature by the time we received it. The coffees were average and importantly not watery. We had a latte and mocha, but maybe they could consider changing the cups they serve them in as it's quite hot to touch obviously; mugs would probably be good for summer and the cups good for winter."
