I love this place. I often buy their "Best of Harvest" bread and their apple pies. Take the pie home. heat it up at 375 for 20 minutes, and enjoy! They also have hard-to-find Eccles bread for our Brit pals, Cornish pasties, and so much more. It's a homier (and less expensive) alternative to Utopia in uptown Chemainus. Popped in for a coffee and a pastry with my parents and nephew. I had a snail which was pretty good. I think I'd like it better warmed up. My dad had the apple strudel which was good, but wish they had forks! Some of the savoury baked goods looked tasty as well, like the sausage roll.
