"I called here for lunch with my mother. what a great place! decor is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and welcoming and the eating is absolutely delicious and very cheap. very good menu selection. only a thought- my mother (she is 92) would always go for suppe as a midday selection, so it would be nice to see on the menu. we will definitely come back!"

"Booked for afternoon tea for me and my mum. Absolutely lovely setting and welcoming atmosphere. The tea sets and crockery were so beautiful. The selection of teas were amazing and I love the fact they were loose leaf! The afternoon tea itself was delicious (especially...the sandwiches, oh and the cakes…and everything else). Congratulations to the ladies at this tearoom for making such an amazing environment. I’ll be back asap!"

"Ridiculous prices. Good food but didn’t live up to expectations. Very expensive for very little. Even had to pay extra for a small jug of gravy. Lacking in atmosphere and no recognition made of a birthday celebration."

"Called in on a snowy day sat by the open fire the pub is decorated beautifully for Christmas , very cozy I had the feather blade of beef carrots roast parsnip and dauphinois potatoes and the chicken stuffed with haggis beautifully presented and hot . It was so good we have booked for Christmas Eve well done chefs and the girls front of house"

"I like my coffee and spent many years in Greece where you have good choices. This is one of the closest and in fact used to be in Athens until it became a victim of the financial crisis. However, this local shop continually serves up...good tasting barista coffee in a nice relaxed ambience. Also tried the iced coffee (cappuccino) and this was a very good substitute for my missing Freddo Cappuccino from Greece."
