Would rate higher if possible. Apart from the food being amazing, the cleanliness and decor being top class the staff went above and beyond. Our party had one wheelchair user and they were at the door opening it for us almost before we got there and this help continued until we left. I am disappointed with my dining experience at this restaurant. The tablecloth was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned from the previous sitting. It was also cold upstairs and the staff did not follow instructions on what to remove from the dish. This was a little disappointing. Perhaps they were just too busy that day. We are often here and have never matured the food and good service. the starters were salt and chili ribs x2, pork and dumplings, and garnel toast ...
Blunt eating! I can't say anymore! it costs about £50 for 2 with wine depending on what they have, but good value the money. I was there.
The orient is on middlewich rd, near the rats offices and opposite mcdonalds. it offers Chinese/Thai food in a rather minimalist decoration that is pampered.
I visited recently with my family. It was a very nice occasion. We ordered a platter to share for a starter, which was delicious. I'm a vegetarian, and there was a lovely selection on the platter, and a good choice of vegetarian main meals. The food came quickly, and was good!
The Orient is our number one choice in Sandbach. Had a meal on Friday, the food was absolutely delicious, piping hot, fresh, tasty, a meal that even though you were full you had to keep eating! Added to that the staff are wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit already
