had a pint and a very nice meal in this beautiful historical pub. the whole food was very nice and the service was top notch. the dame behind the bar was beautiful and welcoming and told us a little about the history of the building. a real host. the pub itself is accessible, but the toilets are down a steep and narrow row of stairs. What Alice C doesn't like about The Hoop And Grapes:
Nice vibe, but seemed to be out of a lot of stuff (beer and food). Online menu didn’t seem to match the paper one, and ordering online was a nightmare. Ended up ordering at the bar. Fries took ages to come out, and smallish portion but tasted nice. All in all not a bad experience, but probably wouldn’t bother going back. View all feedback.
Last orders were really early but lovely place and wasn't too busy on Saturday.
Best pub in London great beers great atmosphere and excellent live music. Ask for Alina she’s the one you want
