This place is a favourite of ours, the dining room is tucked away upstairs and is pretty small. Since our last visit a few years ago the pub seems to have been acquired by Nicholsons so the menu is much more varied. Given that we were on vacation, we indulged in a traditional pie each with all the trimmings Steak Ale and a Boar and Chorizo. Both were incredibly tasty and piping hot.
