"My first taste of Aperol happened in Venice, extremely appropriate given Aperol’s Italian heritage. Topped with soda and gazing out on Venice’s intricate, windy cobbled streets, this bright drink has the power to transport me right back. View from the Grand Canal. I’ve always viewed this as a bit of a summer drink though and Aperol are on a mission to change that and make Aperol a year-round tipple and so they’ve invited us to the Cocktail Trading Co to get a crash course in how to make this drink and show us just how easy drinking it is year round."

"With tapas taking London by storm, it makes sense for Sam and Eddie Hart to open their third Barrafina (they’ve a Michelin starred one in Soho and another one on Adelaide Street in Covent Garden) and for me, this one is easily their best. Like the others, it’s a simple set up; a large counter with stalls overlooks the bustle of the kitchen, giving the place a surprisingly serene atmosphere. It’s not always everybody’s cup of tea, but watching chefs preparing the food before your very eyes has always rather excited me."

"I saw the bar by Phill Netflix tour and was curious to visit this London good old days bar for the one and only vesper martini ! A rainy day arrives hotel entry with gentle greeting enter the Bar left side and asking for a seat got a cosy nice corner one and the barkeeper roll and prepare the vesper !very surprising taste and I have to say it makes my rwdt of the day very relaxing ! Thanks, Dukes team and Sir Fleming!"
