"Lovely atmosphere on a Friday night. Not to busy but enough to create a nice buzz. Service was excellent by our waitress but unfortunately didn't get her name! Menu is not extensive but enough to leave you still deciding what to have, beef carpaccio starter, carbonara and white chocolate parfait were all excellent. Meals were not huge, but actually had room for dessert and felt full but still comfortable afterwards. Overall good value for money. Well done Rosie the team"

"We went for Sunday lunch, we thought it was reasonable priced until you realise you have to pay extra for stuffing, cauliflower cheese etc. I had beef and it was so tough, you literally couldn't cut through it. They said the whole beef was fatty so offered me an alternative meat, I had ham and it was disgusting and not what I wanted. The veg could have been cooked slightly longer, especially for the kids. My teacup had a black chip in the bottom and marks on it. If I was in a cafe and paying cafe prices I wouldn't mind. However, you are paying high end prices and expect high end quality. The server was nice an professional."

"We stumbled over this little gem of a restaurant during the visit to dovercourt one evening and the smell of the food was so mouthful water that we said that we had come back tomorrow with the rest of our travel companion to eat here. I'm glad we did this. this food was amazing! the experience began with the owner ibrahim greeted us as soon as we entered the restaurant. this is a wonderful man we soon found out puts so much time and love in eating as he does to make sure that the customer is happy. his attentiveness to ensure that we understood the dishes and what it contained was a refreshing change in the hurly atmosphere that has the majority of restaurants. a member of our party has a nut allergy and ibrahim ensured that the ordered court would not have cross-contamination or contact with any nuts. the food arrived and our thoughts were absolutely bleeding. everything was fresh, tasty, and the presentation of it was something they would find in a five star restaurant. the dishes were a large part of the food, but above all the quality was there. everything on the plate perfectly matched to each other, and there was so much taste in every dish that we all wanted that we were hungry so we could continue on this tasteful journey through the menu. the Turkish meze bar fulfilled and surpassed all expectations and I guarantee that I will let everyone I know participate in the kitchen and atmosphere of this amazing small restaurant. the prices are very reasonable, and no word of a lie that if this restaurant was in london, they need a reservation and expect to pay double. I hope everyone has the opportunity to meet ibrahim and his wonderful family during the Turkish meze bar. please go and experience the amazing food he serves proudly. amazing!"
