"My husband and I are from Indy but wanted a quick weekend away. We decided to spend some time in Louisville. I’ve been gluten free for six years and love when we find a fun place to try especially when everything is gluten free! We ended up at The Silly Axe Cafe not once on our visit…but twice! We stopped once to snack/get dessert and then had to go back a second time for a meal. Their special at the time was pretzel bites and I cannot tell you how stoked I was for that. I used to LOVE the pretzel place at the mall. So getting gf pretzel bites seriously made my whole weekend yes really. Loved the vibes and the hustle and bustle of everyone back in the kitchen working to crank out the good eats. Place was hopping with others also enjoying lunch or picking up treats. We parked behind the restaurant (it’s free parking) and entered from the back. Nice setup. Accessible from both the front and back of this fun spot. Will definitely be back the next time we visit Louisville or on our way through town!"

"Some of us from work all got together for some drinks. They have the best salsa jalapeño dip for chips. I had the Boom Boom Chicken and it was just out of this world! We had a great time and the atmosphere was excellent and so laid back. Service was excellent. First time there and I will make this my new place to go too."
