"The restaurant and staff were lovely all seemed ok when I asked questions about cross-contamination and what was safe for celiac. However, I was very ill after dinner there last night. I had the mozzarella and beet salad, GF Pasta with shrimp, ricotta and lemon and the GF cheesecake. The severity of my reaction would lead me to believe the pasta I was given was not GF. Even though when placed in front of me the server confirmed it was GF. Despite the great service it isn’t safe enough for me to consider going back. Sad since it’s such a great location and menu."

"The Ale House is becoming our favourite spot. Great wings, NHB draft, sports on the TV's and cheesy 80's music in the background. Great spot to go with friends for dinner and drinks, without a lot of background noise like the larger places in town."

"Ate dinner with friends last night. Very enjoyable. The renovation looks great. We ate in “the Snug” by the fireplace. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Particularly liked the buffalo dip appetizer. What made it awesome were the homemade potato chips. And my fave dessert is sticky toffee pudding, Arthur’s is delicious! All in all a great dining experience."

"Excellent sushi in Cobourg! We drove from Peterborough to catch a documentary at The Loft went here for dinner before hand. We were in and out in well under an hour, which was great because we were cutting it kind of close for the film. Food was some of the better sushi I've had in a while; we really loved the Vegetable roll with yamagobo inari! Fast friendly service too. This was my first time in Cobourg we will definitely be back to explore more of the town have another tasty meal at Golden Chopsticks!"
